Overview

The SPZ Undercounter Glasswasher is a compact, high-temperature warewasher built specifically for glassware, delivering bright, streak-free results without the water spots or lipstick marks that hand-washing leaves behind. It slots neatly beneath a bar counter or back-of-house worktop, drawing dirty glasses and returning them polished and dry-ready in a single short cycle.

This machine sits at the bar and café throughput tier, comfortably handling the glass volumes of a busy drinks service without the footprint or power draw of a full dishwasher. A gentle wash action protects delicate stemware and pint glasses, while the sanitising rinse ensures every glass meets hygiene standards before it reaches a customer.

The core value is speed and consistency: rapid cycles of around 90 to 180 seconds keep clean glassware flowing during peak hours, cut the labour tied up in polishing, and remove the risk of cross-contamination that comes with a cloth. Built-in detergent and rinse-aid dosing means results stay uniform shift after shift.

Key features

  • High-temperature sanitising rinse for hygienically clean, sparkling glassware.
  • Short selectable cycles keep a busy bar stocked during peak service.
  • Compact undercounter body fits beneath most standard bar counters.
  • Built-in detergent and rinse-aid dosing pumps for consistent, hands-off results.
  • Double-skinned stainless steel construction for insulation and durability.
  • Optional built-in water softener to reduce limescale and glass clouding.

Ideal applications

Ideal for cocktail bars, pubs, hotel lounges, cafés and coffee shops that push high volumes of glassware and need fast turnaround without a dedicated warewashing area. It is equally at home in function rooms and members' clubs where presentation of stemware matters.

Where a venue also needs to wash cups, saucers and small plates, this glasswasher pairs well with a separate undercounter dishwasher to keep glass and crockery streams apart.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a glasswasher if I already have a dishwasher?

A dedicated glasswasher uses a gentler wash and lower spray pressure that protects delicate stemware, and its separate tank stays free of grease and food debris. This keeps glasses crystal clear and streak-free, which a busy dishwasher tank cannot reliably deliver during service.

What rinse temperature sanitises glassware?

A final rinse of around 82–85°C is the recognised benchmark for thermal sanitising. At this temperature the rinse both disinfects the glass and evaporates quickly, so glassware comes out virtually dry and ready to use without hand-polishing or cloth marks.

Will it fit under my bar counter?

Most undercounter glasswashers stand around 700 mm tall and roughly 460 mm wide, designed to slide beneath a standard bar counter. Confirm your counter height, and that a water inlet, drain and power point are within reach, before installation. Our team can site-check this for you.

Does it need three-phase power in Singapore?

Most undercounter glasswashers run on a standard single-phase 230V supply, so a dedicated three-phase connection is usually not required. A suitably rated socket and circuit are still needed given the heating element load. We confirm electrical requirements against your premises before delivery.

Does SPZ install and service glasswashers?

Yes. SPZ supplies, installs and services warewashers across Singapore, including water, drain and power connection, softener setup and operator handover. We also offer maintenance, descaling and spare parts support. Trade pricing is available on request for the food and beverage industry.
